Ceremonial tattoos and events.

It's been some time since I last touched on the subject of ceremonial tattooing with Dance of ink and blood on a field of flesh, so I figured I should revisit it as two flash events are to take place during the month of October, but we will get back to that part later.

Ceremonial tattooing.

Because of the recent changes switching from one tattoo studio to another, I had placed this service on hold meanwhile those changes took place. Because these types of tattooing undergoes a process of steps which cannot be shared with a regular studio space, most of these tattoos are offered in my office and by appointment only, which is now open for bookings for consultation of spell work and ceremonial tattooing

Recently I had the chance to tattoo a fellow tattooist who had inquired about a conjured tattoo, So I took the opportunity to have this documented and photographed to show snippets of this ceremony (with permission of course).

Most of the process involves conjurations of ancestral powers, honoring those who paved our existence into this world, along with Acat the Mayan deity of tattooing, the lineage from which the yants are passed down from to apply this magical power into the tattoo, further other assisting spirits whom I have a long relationship with. The person undergoes a ceremony to clear any negative energy which the person might have around them and to receive the magic and energy transferred from the tattooist and the spirits present for the ceremony.

Unlike regular tattooing where the client is open to talk about anything, during ceremonial tattooing the person is encouraged to sit in meditation during the whole process of the tattoo to keep a clear mind and focus on the goal of the tattoo. The tattooist focuses all the collective energy summoned and spoken prayer to be drawn into the skin with the ink as it's being applied by the needles. Finalizing with a blessing of activation, a kata or chant might be provided at the end to summon the power of the tattoo.

October ceremonial tattoo flash event.

There is an event coming up, which will take place at Dragonfly Creations Spiritual & Conjure in Windsor CT on October 22nd from Noon until 9pm.

My friends at Dragonfly creations have provided a space for this event, as an opportunity for me to provide conjured tattoos in a ritualized manner, which blend Thai sorcery and Conjure. 3 flash sheets have been crafted for such event, to provide tattoos for specific spirits, sigils and yants.

The ceremonies for this event begin with a ceremony before noon to conjure the spirits and honor lineages to begin tattooing at noon, the ceremonies for this event to receive the tattoos are slightly shorter to accommodate the timing for a spiritual cleansing and application of the tattoo, whoever is to receive a tattoo during these ceremonies are encouraged to bring one small item or photo of an ancestor, (5) incense sticks, white or orange

The day will close with offerings to the local spirits ancestor's of lineages, and of those who came to receive a tattoo. The price for most tattoos is of $100 plus tax, except for the Lilith center piece in the flash sheet and the rose with yants as those are bigger in size, most of the tattoos are 3-4 inches big.
