The Return of Creation: Introducing the Pomba Gira’s Takrut of Empowerment
After taking some time away to focus on events, rituals, and the art of tattooing, I’m excited to share the culmination of my recent work. Over the past few months, I’ve been collaborating closely with Ajarn Apichai to bring forth a project that combines two powerful spiritual traditions. This endeavor, a limited-edition fusion of Quimbanda and Thai necromancy, has resulted in a truly remarkable creation: The Pomba Gira’s Takrut of Empowerment.
This takrut serves as the perfect complement to Exú’s Fusion Patúa, uniting energies from two potent paths to craft an amulet unlike any other. For those unfamiliar, a takrut is a form of spellwork inscribed onto a metal sheet (or other natural materials), imbued with power and purpose. For this release, we have crafted two versions:
• 7 pieces in lead: Processed and melted by Ajarn himself.
• 14 pieces in copper: Also charged and empowered with the same care.
Each takrut is created with a meticulous blend of materia, including:
• Soil gathered from points of power.
• A variety of sacred plants, flowers, and powders.
• Ash and special ingredients sourced from mountains.
Encased in auspicious wax collected by Ajarn, the takrut is wrapped in necromantic fabric, secured with a red string of the same nature, and submerged in a blend of two sacred oils—one crafted by Ajarn and the other by me at my tronco. To ensure durability and usability, the takrut is sealed in a waterproof case and designed as a choker with an adjustable sliding knot necklace, allowing you to customize its length when wearing.
The Power and Purpose of Pomba Gira’s Takrut

The Making of the Pomba Gira’s Takrut of Empowerment
The creation of the Pomba Gira’s Takrut of Empowerment was a deeply spiritual and intricate process, guided by Pomba Gira herself and carried out with care, intention, and collaboration. Every step of its craftsmanship was steeped in ritual and devotion, ensuring the amulet’s power and purpose.
Divine Guidance and Planning
This journey began with guidance from Pomba Gira, who provided specific instructions for the takrut’s design. Through a series of divination sessions, every detail—from its symbols to its materials—was reviewed and approved before finalizing the plan. This ensured that the takrut would embody her energy and fulfill its intended purpose.
Crafting the Sacred Oil
One of the cornerstone elements of the takrut is a sacred oil, which I tata Ezundu- crafted at my temple. This process was a collaborative effort, with the invaluable help of a dear friend and godsister who assisted in preparing offerings and performing the necessary rituals.
The oil was cooked under the light of the moon, its essence infused with the power of the stars over several nights. During this time, mysterious and mystical occurrences added an otherworldly touch to the process. Each offering delivered during these nights heightened the oil’s potency, ensuring it carried the energy and blessings required for the amulet’s creation.
Ajarn’s Role in the Creation
While I focused on the oil, Ajarn Apichai prepared the materials for the takrut. He inscribed symbols that represented a fusion of Quimbanda and Thai necromancy: those approved by Pomba Gira and yants carefully selected by Ajarn to align with the amulet’s purpose.
Once the oil was complete, I sent it, along with additional materials, to Ajarn’s Samnak. There, the final assembly took place. Ajarn blended the elements, performed consecration rituals, and ensured that the takrut was charged with the combined energies of both spiritual traditions.
Final Blessings and Empowerment
When the completed takruts arrived, I presented them to Pomba Gira for her final blessing. This included another round of rituals and offerings, sealing the takrut’s energy and affirming its spiritual purpose. Only after her approval were the takruts prepared for release.
A Sacred Creation
The Pomba Gira’s Takrut of Empowerment is more than an amulet—it is a labor of love, devotion, and collaboration between traditions. From its divinely inspired design to its careful assembly and consecration, it embodies the transformative power of magic and spirituality.
This takrut carries the blessings of both Quimbanda and Thai necromancy, offering a potent tool for empowerment, protection, and spiritual growth. It is not simply a piece of spellwork—it is a living testament to the fusion of traditions and the energy of those who guided its creation.
