What’s Been Stirring in the Den?

Hello there!

It’s been a while since my last post. Life’s been busy, but the fire hasn’t gone out, so I figured it was time to share what’s been moving and shaking in the Den.

Blending Sorcery, Building Bonds

As most of you know, my work lives in that crossroads where amulets, powders, oils, and bones carry more than just weight—they carry sorcery. A lot of this is born from my own roots in magical practices, my conjure practice, and the lessons of my teacher and dear friend Ajarn Apichai in Thailand. Along the way, I’ve built real bonds with other sorcerers—people I deeply respect, who I get to work alongside not just from afar, but often right here within driving distance.

This year, much of my work has been alongside Jackson from House of Ophidious. Our projects are a true fusion: his knowledge of star sorcery, precious stones, and the radiance of celestial currents meeting my powders, oils, and spirit-led techniques. Together, we bring our alliances of spirits to the table and shape something unique. We’ve got a few projects brewing that I’m excited to share down the line—so keep an eye out.

OSC:

The Root and the Flame Show

Mama Starr Casas and I have teamed up to bring a new podcast to life. Some of you may remember her old BlogTalkRadio show—when that platform went under, most of her work there was lost. After a long talk, the spark was lit, and she asked me to co-host this new venture with her.

Welcome to The Root & The Flame show.

She is the root—the heart, the star of the show, carrying the full weight of her conjure knowledge. I am the flame—the madness, the necromancer, the sorcerer who brings the wild side, all while honoring conjure as the foundation of my work. Together, with the help of dear friends (you know who you are), we’ve shaped something new.

The show dives into conjure as Mama Starr has always known it, in her own voice. My fire runs alongside it, pulling in my journeys through other realms and practices. Katie joins us as well—many of you will remember her from Mama’s earlier shows—and in the background there’s a Den entity who sets the stage each time with brilliance.

Working with Mama Starr on this has been nothing short of amazing, and seeing each episode grow feels like tending a living flame.

Markets

I continue to vend at the markets hosted by Salem Witch Fest in Peabody, MA—these gatherings are always a highlight for me. It’s a chance to see familiar faces, meet new folks, and talk about the amulets, oils, and powders available. Every time I leave inspired.

The next one is the Hallowstide Market:

📅 Saturday, October 4th

🕔 5 PM – 9 PM

📍 Mills 58 – Building C, 58 Pulaski Street, Peabody, MA

A Den Here, A Den There—The Channels of Power

Another project in motion is with Neen from FoxDen Tattoo—tattooist, practitioner of Heka, animist, and kitchen witch. Together, we’re weaving a limited-edition magical tool. FoxDen and Manticore’s Den are walking side by side here—tattooing happens in Wallingford, CT, but the projects spill into both spaces. More on that soon.

Closing the Circle

That’s the pulse of the Den right now. New projects are stirring, new items are coming, and new episodes of the show are on the way. Stay tuned—the fire’s only getting hotter.
